Our Backcountry Refresher is a single field day of ski touring with one of our lead instructors.
Students will review: the daily process and decision making in avalanche terrain, as well as practice some companion rescue skills.
Expect a full day!
Students have the option to refresh their education with our AST online curriculum.
A trip planning exercise will take place online the night before the field day.
Students must have their own touring equipment - Touring Skis, a Splitboard, or Snowshoes/Approach Skis with downhill equipment.
Students must have their own transceiver, probe, and shovel - Contact Us for rental availability
